I have had a most wonderful life, and I have a strong faith. If yesterday came again I would not change a thing, because despite all of life’s challenges, what I have today is beautiful.
I have the most wonderful life because I recognize the privilege that it is to be alive. I try to embrace every day, and sometimes I do and sometimes I can’t; but every day I am grateful. My typical day is always: coffee, Franciscan Renewal Center, paint, write, run and every moment in between is simply sharing the joy and living life. I am a firm believer that a dream is only as good as the journey that you take it on so every day is a good reason to embrace life.

Art Show: SOLE * VINO * TERRA
Local Artist Doria Dphrepaulezz is hosting an Abstract Art open house at the CREATIVE CENTER OF SCOTTSDALE on Thursday, February 21, 2019, from 5 to 8 pm, located at 3616 N Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85251. Adding to the divine feast of the senses, Doria is excited to welcome Tamara Leigh Murphy, a former NYC pastry chef, who will guide guests on an intriguing chocolate tasting.
Doria Dphrepaulezz is a single Mom, a Writer, Poet, and an Abstract Artist. She has lived in New York City, Italy, and France, currently residing in Scottsdale, Arizona where she paints and writes. Having spent her childhood in the extraordinary beauty of the Berkshires of western Massachusetts, she discovered her inner Artist in Italy where she lived for 15 years. Years living and traveling in Italy greatly influenced the passionate rhythm of her words as well as the hue and accents in her paintings. This cultural immersion is further amplified by her complete fluency in Italian.
She is madly in love with life—the good, the bad and the different. The musical notes from her soul, gently echoing in each painting - she’s a little bit of Opera and a whole lot of Country. Her paintings are a mix of her love for poetry music and the vivid colors of the changing seasons. Over the past decade, she has had several one-woman private shows of her abstract works and poetry.
Please come by and meet the artist and take a luxurious walk through the forest of abstract colors and textures all while enjoying a lovely journey of chocolate tasting.
